Wednesday 30th June

There is some midweek pattern racing at Fairyhouse in the shape of the Group 3 Brownstown Stakes (7:30) over seven furlongs for fillies and mares.

Thursday 1st July

Ireland is also the location of Thursday's best racing, where the feature of Leopardstown's seven-race evening meeting is the listed Golden Fleece Stakes (7:00), a juvenile event over seven furlongs.

Friday 2nd July

There are five scheduled meetings in Britain on Friday, and the day's best racing is at Sandown where the Dragon Stakes (2:50) over five furlongs for two-year-olds, and the mile-and-a-quarter Gala Stakes (4:00) for older horses, both hold listed status.

Saturday 3rd July

Saturday is Eclipse Stakes (3:10) day at Sandown, and the likes of Twice Over, Dar Re Mi and Zacinto are all towards the head of the market for that race. The rest of the card is also of high quality, with the Challenge Stakes (2:35, a heritage handicap over a mile, is sure to prove a competitive betting heat.

There are four other meeting in Britain on Saturday, the best of which is at Haydock, where the Group 2 Lancashire Oaks (2:50) is the highlight of a card that also features the valuable Old Newton Cup (3:25) handicap.
