Wednesday 23rd June

The Cumberland Plate (3:35) is the main attraction at Carlisle on Wednesday, though the traditional Carlisle Bell (3:05) handicap is another quite valuable prize on the track's seasonal showpiece day.

Thursday 24th June

There is listed action for fillies over a mile and a quarter a Newcastle on Thursday in the shape of the Hoppings Stakes (4:30).

Down at Warwick the Eternal Stakes (4:05) is a similar contest restricted to fillies, this time over seven furlongs.

Friday 25th June

The best race on Newcastle's evening card is the Gosforth Park Cup (7:25), a valuable handicap over five furlongs.

Saturday 26th June

Saturday is Northumberland Plate (3:10) day in Newcastle, where the Group 3 Chipchase Stakes (2:05) over six furlong is just one of the many attractions on a strong supporting card

There is also good racing at Newmarket where there are two listed races as well as the seven-furlong Group 3 Criterion Stakes (3:25) and Windsor, where the listed Midsummer Stakes (3:00) is the main attraction.

Over in Ireland, The Curragh stages the first day of the Irish Derby meeting, the highlight of which is the Group 1 Pretty Polly Stakes (3:40) over a mile and a quarter for fillies and mares
